I think I have a new favorite time of day to shoot family photos. There is this incredibly perfect time of day where the sun is just perfectly dusky golden in the summer and wait for it here is the big kicker for all Midwesterners, NO mosquitos are out. This perfect time of day happens in the early morning hours of like 7/730 AM. As parents, the Erickson’s agreed that with a younger one this was also a perfect time of day to schedule a family session, and boy am I so glad they did!
The light on this morning was so insanely perfect and I had so much fun capturing the Erickson family photos. I had the privilege to capture Caroline’s newborn photos the year before, so to see how big she has grown was just too much fun. I cannot wait to continue to see their family grow and feel so blessed to be part of capturing the Erickson family’s lives as they grow.
